Yellow-red monazo pigments for plastics, paints, rubbers printing inks, paper, textile coating etc. Prepared by diazotising amines such as 3-amino-4-chlorobenzoylurea or 4-aminobenzoulures, and coupling with components such as 2-hydroxy-3-carboxynaphthyl-2':4'-dimethoxy-5'-chloro-phenylamide or 2-hydroxy-3-carboxynaphthyl-2'-naphthylamide. The colourations obtained are fast to migration and light. washing bleaching by Cl2 or hypochlorite, overdyeing, hydrosulphites, bleaching by peroxides, dry-cleaning, rubbing, over-painting and solvents. They have good transparency and heat-stability.
