<p>PURPOSE: To enable efficient glossing of a resin-coated surface without imparting damage to the resin-coated surface by bringing the resin-coated surface of a sheet material into direct contact with a heating bath of a heat medium for a certain time. CONSTITUTION: The heating bath of the non-tacky adhesive, non-wetting and flowable heat medium 22 (e.g. lead) is prepd. The resin-coated surface 15 of the sheet material 12 is brought into direct contact with such heat medium 22 for a certain time. This certain time refers to the time sufficient for fusing the resin coating 15 by the heat transfer induced by heat conduction from the heat medium g2 the resin coating 15. Consequently, the efficient glossing of the resin-coated surface is made possible without damaging the resin-coated surface.</p> |
