PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively suppres vibration generated in equipment against implusive force and ensure vibration insulating performance during steady operation by providing the interior of a support element with a cavity surrounded by an upper rigid body, a lower rigid body and an elatic body, and filling dilatant material in the cavity. SOLUTION: Horizontal rigidity of a support element 11 is not uniform on a plane of optional height and becomes markedly small at a cavity 15 part. When equipment is horizontally vibrated in a large degree, the cavity 15 part is therefore deformed in a marked degree. As a result, an upper rigid body 12 and a lower rigid body 13 relatively move in a large degree, and flow is generated to dilatant material 4. Vibration of equipment becomes large, and as a result, flow of the dilatant material 4 becomes large, and when shearing speed generated to the dilatant material 4 becomes a certain value or more, the viscosity of the dilatant material is rapidly increased. Large resistance is therefore generated against the relative motion of the upper rigid body 12 and lower rigid body 13. As a result, the vibration of the equipment is damped and suppressed. |
