PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of a paste type electrode by which paste can be uniformly filled in a current collecting body and strength of the electrode can be improved. CONSTITUTION: In a manufacturing method of a paste type electrode provided with a process of preparing paste by kneading a mixture containing a binding agent containing polytetrafluoroethylene, an active material and water and a process of filling the paste in a current collecting body, the paste preparing process contains operation to knead the mixture while controlling it at a temperature not less than a glass transition point of the polytetrafluoroethylene. The filling process is performed by controlling the paste at a temperature lower than the glass transition point. |
