In a fuel injection device which supplies fuel to an internal combustion engine via an electromagnetic valve composed of an electromagnetic coil arranged in a casing and a fixed core having a non-magnetic portion 11 interposed between magnetic portions 12, 13, the fixed core is an integrated structure rather than a conventional structure in which the non- magnetic portion is bonded between the magnetic portions. The non-magnetic portion 11 is an austenitic stainless steel region integral with or welded or fused to the magnetic regions.
