PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel hepatic fibrogenesis repairing agents which are highly effective, are highly safe, and can be used for long period of time.SOLUTION: A hepatic fibrogenesis repairing agent contains a substance having an action that reduces the expression and/or inhibits the function of miR-34a, a microRNA. Preferably, the substance is an oligonucleotide that is a complementary sequence of miR-34a, oligonucleotide that hybridizes to miR-34a under stringent conditions, and the like.
