An electroluminescent stratified system has a light-emitting organic material arranged between two electrodes capable of being connected to a direct voltage source. The first electrode is a hole injecting electrode (anode) and the second electrode is an electron-injecting electrode (cathode). The electron-injecting electrode (16) is made of an electroconductive oxide-containing material with low electron emission.
