ELECTRONIC ORDER SYSTEM, CATALOG PURCHASING REQUEST SYSTEM AND ORDER FACILITATING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide an electronic provision/purchase demand system obtained by integrating a purchaser's purchase demand system with a catalogue system and a supplier's computer system. CONSTITUTION: The system and method allow a supplier 100 to easily order an article. The system includes an electronic catalogue 1 and an electronic purchase demand 2. The electronic catalogue 1 includes a shared catalogue 106 and a private catalogue 110. The shared catalogue 106 is stored in a shared data base allowed to be accessed by a demander/purchaser 102. The private catalogue 110 is stored in a computer system for a demander 102 and can include inherent price data based upon the agreement of price. Since a purchase demand is electronically prepared based upon information applied to the catalogue and a route is specified so as to pass the demand through a suitable approval process in an enterprise, the electronic purchase demand can be used by the demander. The purchase demand is processed through an provision system for the demander 102 and electronically sent to the supplier 100 as a purchase order.
