PURPOSE: To easily and speedily retrieve a document which is relative to anyone document. CONSTITUTION: When the document inputted on the screen of a CRT 12 is saved, relative document information on the document that a user inputs on a keyboard is linked with this document and saved in a relative document information storage table 14. When the document is called, a list display of documents stored in a storage device 16 is displayed on the screen of the CRT 12, but stored documents to which relative document information are displayed at this time, so the relative document information in the relative document information storage table 14 is listed and displayed by indicating the calling of the relative document information of the stored documents. The user only specifies an arbitrary document name indicated with the relative document information and then the target relative document is taken out of a storage device 16 or the storage device of another terminal and displayed on the screen of the CRT 12. |
