The tool (2) has a runner bar (7) used to hold coupling cables firmly inside the tool head by applying hand pressure. The head has a groove to allow it to be pressed against cables, and has a sliding piece for guiding the cables into place in the tool seat (3). A barb in the seat prevents the coupling beams from sliding out. The seat has rounded edges to allow the cables to run into the seat without damaging them. The runner bar extends through a central channel (34) with a conical shape in order to prevent the bar from snagging if the tool is used as a bending tool by mistake, and also to reduce any moisture capillary effect. |
