PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a display portion for displaying a moving or still image or a combination of them according to the condition of the game machine, while imparting a sufficient dynamic visual effect to the image of a variable display game displayed on the display portion to draw a player's attention. SOLUTION: On a normal screen for use until an on-standby screen, a background image is displayed while in motion as an image of identification information is moved in such a way that the images move at different relative speeds. By varying the relative speeds of the image of identification information and the background image displayed, the dynamic visual effect on the player can be enhanced while the moving speed of the image of identification information is kept below speeds at which the player can visually recognize symbols to some extent. |
