providing CNTs, and contacting the CNTs with a doping agent, wherein the doping agent comprises an electron acceptor or electron donor molecule that forms a charge transfer complex with the CNTs, and further characterized by introducing defects into the CNTs such that they decrease the G/D ratio into the range of about 8 to about 20 prior to adding a doping agent. |
