Scaffolding comprises inverted U frames the uprights of which have spigot and socket engagement with similar frames and boards resting on the horizontal members of the U frames and having metal plates protruding at the corners and having recesses engaging the uprights. Each plank may have all the plates on one surface or the two plates at one end may be on the opposite surface to the plates at the other end. The planks are arranged so that where they meet end to end the plates on one end are on the too surface and the plates on the other end on the bottom surface. |
