PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover body for a drinking water container which is easily produced and excellent in a shielding property against gas and a high grade sense and also suitable for germless charging. SOLUTION: This cover is provided with a cover body 10 made of plastic sheet and furnished with an opening 11 for drinking water, a cap 41 sealing the opening, and a pull-tab 43 continuously connected to the cap 41. The plastic sheet constituting the cover body 10 is bent so as to protrude upward and formed to make a protrusion 13, at the surrounding part of the periphery of the opening 11 of the cover body 1 and the whole outer peripheral part thereof. A recessed fitting part 15 is provided at the side face of the inner peripheral side of the protrusion 13 provided at the periphery of the opening 11 and the second recessed fitting part 21 is provided at a specified position of the side face of the inner peripheral side of the protrusion 13 provided at the outer periphery of the cover body 10. When fitting the cap 41, the outer peripheral edge of the cap is fitted to the fitting part 15. And at the same time, a specified part of the outer peripheral edge of the pull-tab 43 is fitted to the second fitting part 21. |
