<p>Compsns contg. at least one corticosteroid having a 1,4-pregnadiene skeleton and at least one quinoline deriv. or their salts are antiinflammatory agents showing higher tolerance than when the two active ingredients are used separately. Suitable corticosteroids are e.g. prednisolone prednisone, methyl prednisone, triamcinolone, dexamethazone, paramethazone, betamethazone, prednylidene, beclomethazone and then 17 and 21-esters. Suitable quinolines have the formula (I): (where R1 is H, alkyl or halogen; R2 is opt. substd. carboxyl or opt. substd amino; R3 is H, alkyl or opt. substd. phenyl and R4 is H or phenyl) esp. 2-phenylquinoline-4-carboxylic acid, 7-chloro-4-(4-diethylamino-1-methylbutylamino)quinoline, 7-chloro-4-(4-ethyl(2-hydroxyethyl)amino -1-methylbutylamineo quinoline allyl 2-phenylquinoline-4-carboxylate and ethyl 6-methyl-2-phenylquinoline-4-carboxylate.
