The invention relates to a novel device for storing and using the table/parasol assembly. It consists of a rigid table support 1 having removable legs 2 on which is placed a parasol panel 5 provided with channels 9 which ensure, when this parasol is raised, a flexible articulation of the integral outer panels which collapse, forming a conventional parasol and which, when this same panel is lowered, allow a perfect nesting of the channels 9 into the hollows provided to this end in the support table 1, the parasol/table assembly being rigid and the parasol part acting also as a table. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for garden furniture or for furniture for a pavement in front of a cafe. <IMAGE>
