PURPOSE:To improve color developability of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material when it is processed rapidly by incorporating a 5-pyrazolone type Magenta dyestuff-forming coupler having a specified eliminated group at a coupling position into a silver halide color photographic sensitive material and allowing the coupler to coexist with a specified high boiling org. solvent and dispersing the coupler in the solvent. CONSTITUTION:A 5-pyrazolone type Magenta dyestuff-forming coupler having an eliminated group expressed by the formula I at a coupling position is contained in a silver halide color photographic sensitive material, wherein the coupler coexists with at a least one kind of high boiling org. solvent expressed by the formula II and is dispersed in the solvent. In the formulas I and II, each L1 and L2 is a methylene or ethylene group; each (l) and (m) is zero or 1; R1 is an H atom, alkyl group, aryl group, or heterocyclic group; R2 is a group connecting with A through a C, O, N, or S atom; A is a C atom or an S atom; (n) is 1 when A is a C atom, and 1 or 2 when A is an S atom; B is a C, O, N, or S atom; X is a atomic group which forms a ring; each R11-R13 is an alkyl group or an aryl group, etc. Thus, high color developability is attained in a short developing time. |
