<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for materializing a display device, in which variation of luminous intensity of an adjacent or close light source is reduced, with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The luminous intensity degradation characteristics of a light-emitting diode 1b, the luminous intensity of which is assumed to decrease relatively early due to aging, out of a plurality of light-emitting diode 1a, 1b arranged adjacently or closely are stored in storage means 4, and the lighting time of the light-emitting diode 1b is accumulated in a timer 5. When lighting the light-emitting diode 1a, the luminous intensity of which decreases slowly due to aging, a control unit 3 calculates the luminous intensity of the light-emitting diode 1b after aging from the luminous intensity degradation characteristics and the accumulated lighting time, and performs lighting control so that the luminous intensity of the light-emitting diode 1a is equal to that of the light-emitting diode 1b after aging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
