PURPOSE:To easily register a fingerprint to another fingerprint collating device by operating a personal identification data input means, inputting a personal identification code and writing registered personal data corresponding to this personal identification code to a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 8 is mounted on a personal data writing/ reading means 9 and the personal identification code is inputted by operating a personal identification data input means 3. Then, a writing command is outputted from a control commanding means 7 and the registered personal data corresponding to this personal identification code is written to the recording medium 8. Next, this recording medium 8 is carried to a business office, to which this recording medium is not registered yet, and mounted on the personal data writing/reading means 9 and the personal data is read and additionally registered to a personal data storing means 4. Thus, since the fingerprint feature quantity and personal identification data of a person are registered to any one fingerprint collation device, the fingerprint can be easily registered to the fingerprint collation device set in the other place. |
