PURPOSE:To eliminate displacement in elongating and contracting directions of elongating/contracting means by providing first elongating/contracting means between first and second parallel members of a specific displacement converting mechanism, and second elongating/contracting means for elongating/contracting in opposite operation to those of the first means between second and third parallel members. CONSTITUTION:A displacement converting mechanism 17 composed of flat plate first, second and third parallel members 11-13 provided parallel to each other, a flat platelike first coupling member 15 for coupling the member 11 to the member 12, and a flat platelike second coupling member 16 for coupling the member 12 to the member 13 is provided. A displacement generated by the elongation (or contraction) of first elongating/contracting means 18 in the elongating/contracting direction between the members 11 and 12 cancels that generated by the contraction (or elongation) of second elongating/contracting means 19 in elongating/contracting direction between the second and third members 12 and 13. Thus, displacements of the means 18, 19 such as a piezoelectric element can be eliminated. |
