PURPOSE: To enhance operability and workability so that a drum-like photoreceptor can be quickly and easily exchanged and to accurately position and hold the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a metallic drum-like image carrier 1, a pair of flanges having bearing holes respectively fitted with both ends of the carrier 1 and a shaft 7 piercing through the bearing holes of the pair of flanges. Besides, it is provided with a shaft fixing part 8 having a flat surface part 8a and a circumferential surface part 8b which are obtained by cutting one part of the circumferential surface of both ends of the shaft 7 along a parallel surface by interposing the shaft center, whose vertical cross sections to the shaft center is formed to be an oval shape on both ends of the shaft 7 and which are mutually faced and a shaft holding part 8 constituted so that a circular hole 6b having an inside diameter with which the circumferential surface part 8b of the fixing part 8 is fitted is formed and provided with an aperture part 6a through which the faced flat part 8a of the fixing part 8 inserted in the hole 6b is made to pass. |
