The attachment has a profile base (1) with protruding lateral profile arms (4,5) connected to it, whereby the measurement scale is arranged between the arms. The profile arms ar made of elastic material and the base is made of a longitudinally stable, flexible material. The profile base can be made of metal strip and the profile arms can be made of elastic sheets (6) . The arms can be attached to the base by self-adhesive foil. The base and arms can all be enclosed by elastic sheet.
