PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition having excellent initial sliding properties, durable sliding properties, heat fusibility and molding processability, excellent molding appearance and sense of touch of molding and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by dynamically heat-treating a resin/rubber composition comprising a base polymer constituted of an ethylene/α-olefin-based copolymer rubber, a mineral oil-based softener and anα-olefin-based thermoplastic resin composed of anα-olefin-based crystalline thermoplastic resin and/or anα-olefin-based amorphous thermoplastic resin, an unmodified organopolysiloxane having <10,000 cSt viscosity at 25 deg.C defined by JIS K2283, an unmodified organopolysiloxane having >=10,000 cSt viscosity and a modified organopolysiloxane in the presence of a crosslinking agent. |
