The filter consists of a maximum two-part, flexible, U-shaped element (1) made of coated wire or plastic and running along the wearer's nose-side and protruding from underneath into the nostrils which are filled with filter elements (2). The lower ends of the U-shaped element are shaped to hold the filter-elements. The U-shaped element sits on the nose securely by means of two bead-shaped elements (3).
