The clutch release has a rolling bearing (1) with revolving (11) and stationary (6) rings. The revolving ring is arranged on a guide pot (2), which has a tubular section (3), and a radial flange against which the stationary ring rests. The latter is centred automatically relative to the guide pot, by an elastic element which is arranged between them.The elastic element has a metallic band (19), whose ends approach one another in order to form a ring, and which has elastic tongues (20) which form axial stop surfaces (20a).
