摘要 FIELD: electrolytic processes and equipment. SUBSTANCE: in order to simplify structure, arrangement is made in the form of arm mounted on cathode housing or close to this and is provided with inclined wall forming a hopper together with anode jacket or outer surface of bell-shaped gas collector. Arm may be made of separate sections installed along electrolysis perimeter and being removed when electrolyzer is to be opened. Silica is got into electrolyte at any displacement of anode. Silica feed rate is controlled with slot width in the lower section of hopper. With constant slot width, silica feed rate is controlled in a system mode in dependence on burning rate and velocity of anode displacement. Lower edge of anode jacket or bell-shaped gas collector is provided with guillotine to cut or break electrolyte crust. Upper edge of guillotine has threshing device for silica blend. To provide electric insulating fractures, dielectric insertions are used between bearing surface of arm and cathode housing as well as on lower part of inner surface of inclined wall of the arm. The latter is lined from below with refractory and heat insulation materials. Arm is also provided with process doors with covers to insert into electrolyte tubes of vacuum ladle, tools, and materials. EFFECT: facilitated electrolytic process.
