ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled developer having good fluidity and capable of forming an image having high density by incorporating a specific metal complex to a toner and by forming a coating layer obtd. by curing a silicone resin on the surface of a carrier particle. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the metal complex shown by formulas I-III, and the carrier particle has the coating layer obtd. by curing the silicone resin on the surface of the carrier particle. As the metal complex has a strong negative electrostatic charge property, the toner displays the good negative triboelectrifiability against the carrier having the coating layer made of the silicone resin. Thus, the toner may be charged negatively with an appropriate amount of charge by effecting friction of the toner with the carrier whereby a sticking amount of the toner to a latent image is sufficient in a developing process, and the image having high density can be formed.
