PURPOSE:To inhibit the growth of water bloom and to improve the environment in the water bloom developing water basin by bringing the microbes belonging to Bacillus, Saccharomyces or Dactylosporangium into contact with the water bloom. CONSTITUTION:The microbes belonging to Bacillus, Saccharomyces or Dactylosporangium and capable of settling water bloom are brought into contact with the water bloom or the microbes are sprinkled over the water bloom when water bloom is developed to inhibit the growth of water bloom. The microbes are advantageously sprinkled over the water basin or preferably over the water surface and brought into contact with the water bloom. The sprinkled microbes deposit on the water bloom and intrude into the colony to reduce its activity, and consequently the water bloom is settled on the water bottom after losing its buoyancy. The settled water bloom is exterminated by the action of the microbes or by the oxygen-deficient environment disadvantageous for the growth of water bloom on the water bottom. |
