PURPOSE: To allow a caller to dial a correct telephone number by using a talker independent or dependent template stored locally or down-loaded from a center so as to recognize a dial command or a destination identification name instructed by the caller in voice. CONSTITUTION: Lots of local stations 10 making communication with a telephone set via a line 12 make two-way communication with a database system 13 that stores a customer recording and talker dependent template RT. Each station 10 always stores a talker independent template DT to a memory 17, down-loads the RT from the system 13 and host and signal processors 14, 15 control the prescribed communication. A dial command and a destination identification name by a voice of a talker entered via a buffer 8 are collated by using the DT and the RT and recognized according to a voice recognition program. Thus, a correct telephone number is orally dialed. |
