PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable drain water treatment by a short drain water discharging hose travel and simplify installation work by connecting a drain water discharging hose to an indoor unit so that drain water from the drain water discharging hose is discharged to an indoor drain pan installed in the indoor unit. SOLUTION: When an outdoor unit 1 and an indoor unit 3 are operated, condensate is formed on a refrigerant branching unit 7 due to refrigerant conveyed by a refrigerant distributing pipe 4 from the outdoor unit 1, and drain water consisting of the condensate is received by a drain pan 5 and is discharged to an indoor drain pan 10 of the indoor unit 3 through a drain water discharging hose 6. And then, the drain water of the refrigerant branching unit 7 discharged to the indoor drain pan 10 together with drain water occurring in the indoor unit 3 is discharged through an indoor drain water discharging hose 11 and treated. Thus, any drain pipe exclusively applied to the refrigerant branching unit 7 becomes unnecessary so that installation work can be easily implemented. |
