PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sensor mounting structure for positively mounting a sensor to make its detection accurate and positive. SOLUTION: A sensor holding means has an outer ring 21 fittable to a boss 1a provided at a mounted member 1 to which the sensor is mounted, and an inner ring 23 that can be engaged with the outer ring 21 and fitted to the sensor 30. In association with the engagement and separation of the outer ring 21 and inner ring 23, the outer ring 21 is engaged with and separated from the mounted member 1, and the inner ring 23 is engaged with and separated from the sensor 30.
