PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect more data while controlling the tightness of communication lines.SOLUTION: A roadside communication device having a relay function of data comprises: a communication unit that receives mobile body data generated by a mobile body; a determination unit that determines whether thinning-out processing of the data amount of the mobile body data received by the communication unit should be performed or not on the basis of a prescribed determination condition; and a relay unit that relays the mobile body data while performing the thinning-out processing if a determination result at the determination unit is affirmative, and relays the mobile body data without performing the thinning-out processing if the determination result at the determination unit is negative.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
