In a haymaking machine, of the kind having a frame 1, 2, 3 carried by the hitch-links 28 of a tractor 20 and having rake-wheels 4-7 arrangeable either in a single row for side-delivery or in two parallel rows for swath-turnings. a group of rake-wheels 6, 7 is mounted on a part 3 of the frame so as to be movable bodily with the frame-part between the two positions, the arrangement being, further, that, for swathturning, the leading rake-wheel 6, 4 of each group is closely adjacent one of the tractor rearwheels 47, 33. The frame-part 3 plugs into a U-shaped bracket 35 on the end of a beam 2 and carries apertured lugs which mate with the limbs of the bracket and are secured by pins 42, 43. A similar bracket 35a is provided on the end of the beam 1. A single ground-wheel 44 supports the frame. Specification 919,978 is referred to. |
