The switch contains a coax ial Reed relay with two magnetically operated switches (10, 11) enclosed in glass tubes. One of the strip contacts is in the transmitting circuit and the other in the receiving circuit. The contacts are held in the normally closed position by a permanent magnet. There is also an opposing field generated by a coil (14) incorporated in a switching circuit. the coil is linked to a primary coil (29) of a transmitting-receving relay (30). Both the exciting coil and the transmitting receiving relay will be excited when the transmitting-receiving switch (27) is actuated. The transmitting-receiving relay is also linked to delay circuits (31, 35, 37), which opposes the magnetic field in the primary winding (29) for a fixed period. |
