PURPOSE:To obtain the title powder having excellent flow characteristics and resistance to degradation easily and inexpensively, by stirring a hot-melt fluororesin powder and a tetrafluoroethylene polymer particle in the presence of a specified org. liquid in water and drying them. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of at least one hot-melt fluororesin powder (A) having an average particle size of not larger than 200mum, selected from the group consisting of a tetrafluoroethylene polymer, a chlorofluoroethylene polymer and a vinylidene fluoride polymer and a tetrafluoroethylene polymer (B) which is a (co)polymer of at least 90wt% tetrafluoroethylene with optionally other monomer in a weight ratio of 99.9-85/0.1-15 and optionally a thermal stabilizer are stirred in the presence of an org. liquid having a b.p. of 30-150 deg.C, a surface tension of not higher than 35dyn/cm and insoluble or difficultly soluble in water at a peripheral speed of 0.5-40m/sec in water at 20-150 deg.C and then dried to obtain the title particle which has an average particle size of not larger than 1,000mum and an apparent density of not lower than 0.3g/cm<3> and an agglomerate contg. the component B as a binder. |
