PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network loadable object(NLO) type system capable of optionally and simply downloading and performing an NLO of a different format out of an NLO type systems for loading and performing an object through a network. SOLUTION: Set files 3 to 5 are formed corresponding to a Java application program 22 to be an NLO and a Java execution application 6 selects and starts a Java virtual machine(JVM) in accordance with a Java format in the set files 3 to 5 and downloads and performs a Java application program on the basis of a URL and a name in the set files 3 to 5.
