SUBSTANCE: vortex windmill has vortex-generating stator with at least one contraction channel, rotor whose shaft mounts shaped blades, and additional source of hot upflow air source; novelty is that vortex-generating stator accommodates air vortex shaping zone whose side surface is formed by end sections of contracting channels, bottom and top bases, by supporting rings provided with through holes, and vortex- generating stator proper is mounted on supporting structure above the earth surface in air stream whose speed is higher than at its surface.
