<p>1281434 Phosphorus-containing aminoplasts; textile-treating compositions CIBA GEIGY AG 25 March 1970 [31 March 1969] 14604/70 Heading C3R [Also in Divisions C2 and DI] A flameproofing and optionally creaseproofing composition comprises an aqueous preparation which contains (a) at least one reaction product of (a<SP>1</SP>) a nitrogen compound which can be at least dimethylated, (b<SP>1</SP>) a compound of formula (1) wherein R 1 and R 2 each denote an alkyl, alkenyl or halogenalkyl radical with at most 4 carbon atoms and X denotes a methyl radical or a hydrogen atom, (c<SP>1</SP>) formaldehyde or a formaldehyde-releasing agent and (d<SP>1</SP>), optionally an alkanol with at most 4 carbon atoms, and (b) at least one aliphatic or aromatic polyhalogenated phosphoric acid triester. The specification contains a long list of nitrogen containing compounds. Exemplified reaction products of (a) are 3-(dimethylphosphono)-propionic acid amide reacted with hexamethylolmelamine-pentamethyl-ether, or hexamethylolmelamine, or melamine, or dimethylurea; 3-(dimethylphosphono)- propionic acid methylolamide reacted with dimethylolmelamine, or hexamethylolmelamine, or benzoguanamine, or propyleneurea, or guanidine carbonate, or a triazine, or a tetramethylolacetylenediurea or hexamethylolmelamine-pentamethyl ether; bis-(2-chlorethylphosphono)- propionic acid amide reacted with hexamethylolmelamine-pentamethyl-ether; 3-(diallylphosphono)-propionic acid amide reacted with hexamethylolmelamine - pentamethyl ether; 3-(dimethylphosphono) - methoxymethyl propionic acid amide reacted with hexamethylolmelamine and 4-(di-n-butylphosphono)-propionic acid amide reacted with hexamethylolmelamine-pentamethyl ether. Specified (b) compounds are polybrominated triphenyl phosphate; tricresyl phosphate; tris-(2,3-dibromopropyl)-phosphate; and tris-(2-chloro-2,3-dibromopropyl)-phosphate.</p> |
