Doughlayers, not sugared, are tiered up, sugar sprinkled on the topmost layer and rolled in, whereupon the cake shape in punched out, the layers cut down from the centre out to the rims, and finally baked. The dough comprises one half part by weight fat and one part flour, baked in an open gas flame. |
