<p>1328669 Air conditioning; heating and cooling buildings TRANE CO 23 Dec 1970 [2 Jan 1970] 61202/70 Headings F4U and F4V An air conditioning system comprises a heat exchanger 12 supplied with heated or cooled water, a heat exchanger 14 supplied with heated water, and a fan 18 for delivering air over the heat exchangers to a space to be conditioned, wherein the heat exchangers 12, 14 may be simultaneously supplied with cooled and heated water respectively to dehumidify the air flow. The heat exchanger 12 is coupled alternatively with an evaporator 56 and a steam heated heat exchanger 60 under the control of manually or automatically actuated valves 58, 62. The heat exchanger 14 is included in a domestic hot water supply circuit. The system is automatically controlled by solenoid valves 40, 68 in response to thermostats 33, 76 sensing the water temperatures, and a thermostat 74 and a hygrostat 35 in the space to be air conditioned.</p> |
