PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-quality analysis parameters by subjecting the musical tone waveform data to be analyzed to a spectral analysis, determining the central frequencies and band widths of the respective filters of a filter bank and obtaining the analysis parameters by using this filter bank. SOLUTION: Since the frequencies of the respective partial tones of piano tones are deviated from integral multiple of a pitch, the central frequencies of the respective filters are set according to the degree of the deviations of the respective partial tones of the actual piano tones and the passive band widths of the respective filters are successively widened according to the ways of the deviations so that the band over the entire part of the filter bank is evenly covered. The central frequencies of the respective filters are determined by actually analyzing the piano tones, determining the degrees of the deviation of the frequencies of the respective partial tones and determining the central frequencies according to thereto. When the frequencies of the respective partial tones are determining by mathematical expressions, the central frequencies of the respective filters may be determined according to these mathematical expressions. Further, the combination use of a method for determining the frequencies of the respective partial tones by actually analyzing the original tones and a method for determining the central frequencies by using the mathematical expressions is equally well. |
