Parachute device with sliding landing board

The parachute device is worn on the back and has a folded fabric parachute (3) and a sliding landing board (2), which springs out from its folded position upon deployment of the parachute, to fit beneath the body during landing. The ratio between the overall weight of the landing board and its surface area is at least 25 daN/sq m. The parachutist is secured to the landing board via a quick-release safety belt. The parachute is equipped with a radar/lidar/sonar type distance sensor and is protected against electromagnetic radiation.
