PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food dough rounder in which a stress given to a dough ball can be reduced in a rounding process, and the dough balls traveling in a conveyance passage almost simultaneously and coming close together to become a two pieces-ball can be prevented as much as possible.SOLUTION: A food dough rounder includes: a conveying drum 2 having a small diameter bottom face and a large diameter top surface and formed in a reversing truncated cone shape, and rotated centering on a perpendicular rotating shaft; and a dough guide member 4 helically extending along the side surface of the conveying drum 2 and forming a dough rounding groove 3 of a substantially V-shaped cross section, and guiding a dough ball 7 in the dough rounding groove 3 with the rotation of the conveying drum 2. Then, the rotation direction of the conveying drum 2 is consistent with the direction of the dough ball 7 traveling from a small diameter bottom side of the conveying drum 2 toward the large diameter top side in the dough rounding groove 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
