PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively maintain an optical fiber without damaging the optical fiber by housing the optical fibers circularly bundled to have a diameter equal to or above the minimum bend diameter in a housing case and fixing the housing case by using a fixing tool formed in the housing case. SOLUTION: The housing case 2 for the optical fiber 1 is formed by giving proper thickness to shape obtained by bisecting a long circle whose minor axis is larger than the minimum bend diameter of the optical fiber 1 and whose major axis is twice as large as the minor axis in a major axial direction. An aperture part 3 for leading out the wiring of the optical fiber 1 from the case 2 in which the optical fiber 1 is housed is provided at both ends in the minor axial direction of the case 2. The cover 4 of the case 2 is opened, the optical fibers 1 circularly bundled to have the diameter equal to or above the minimum bend diameter are housed in the case 2, both ends of the optical fibers 1 circularly bundled are allowed to pass to the outside from the aperture part 3, and the cover 4 is closed. The case 2 in which the optical fiber 1 is housed is fixed by using the fixing tool 5. |
