The box partition assembly has longitudinal (1, 2) and transverse (3, 4, 5) partitions formed from a single blank. The longitudinal panels(1, 2) can be bent through 90 deg. to form the longitudinal partitions, and are interconnected via mutually sepd. panels(3-5) to form the transverse partitions. The panels(3-5) each connect to the panels (1, 2) via linking pieces (6-8; 9-11) with two fold lines(6.1, 6.2; 7.1, 7.2 etc) of which the first (6, 1, 7.1 etc.) between piece(6, 7 etc.) and panel(1, 2) is at right angles to the longitudinal edge of the panel(1, 2) whilst the other(6, 2, 7.2 etc.) between piece(6, 7 etc.) and panel(3, 4, 5) is at 45 deg. thereto and intersects the first fold where the panels(1, 2 and 3-5) meet (6.3, 7.3, etc).
