PURPOSE:To suppress the heating of a power MOS FET even when a battery is connected in a reverse direction by providing an oscillating circuit to oscillate when the battery is connected in the reverse direction and a boosting circuit. CONSTITUTION:Into a load driving circuit 11, an oscillating circuit 16 to oscillate when a battery 12 is connected in a reverse direction and a boosting circuit 171 to receive an output from the oscillating circuit 16 and to boost so that a power MOS FET 141 can be driven are integrated and the output terminal of the pressure rising circuit 171 is connected to the gate terminal of the power MOS FET 141. Thus, when the battery 12 is connected to the load driving circuit 11 in the reverse direction, since the power MOS FET 141 for the load driving comes to be in an ON condition, a current is not flown through a parasitic diode 151 of the power MOS FET 141, the heating of the power MOS PET 141 is suppressed and this is prevented.
