PURPOSE: To use much time for switching by switching a reception frequency generated in a time sequence between a reception frequency for a communication period and a monitor reception frequency for a current monitor reception period. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a communication transmission reception use frequency synthesizer SYNT 1 and a signal strength measurement use frequency synthesizer SYNT 2 as separate synthesizer for a communication reception function and a signal strength monitor function, to realize strict requirements imposed on the SYNT 2. Furthermore, a switch SW is used to connect either the SYNT 1 or 2 to a mixer X of a radio telephone receiver. A communication burst signal is received in a 1st reception time slot RX, and the SYNT 1 is connected to the receiver by a switch SW for this period. When a time slot is finished, the switch SW is thrown to the other position for connecting the SYNT 2 to the receiver. |
