The inserting tool is provided for the convenient insertion of push-nut at the end of a shaft. The tool comprises a shaft member(31) having a central dumb hole(35), an annular protrudent ring(37) at one end and a gripper(30) at the opposite end(32), a push-nut loading ring(33) which has the inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of push-nut(40) and is slidingly mounted on the outer periphery of the shaft member(31), and a spring(44) restraining the push-nut loading ring. The spring is located between the push-nut loading ring and the step(38) of the shaft member having a cylindrical cavity(36) on its outer surface.
