摘要 A single crystal semiconductor powder is produced by single crystal powder grain growth from a semiconductor material or salt melt containing a flux. A single crystal semiconductor powder is produced by melting the semiconductor material components or their salts, adding a flux, controlling the melt temperature for growth of single crystal powder grains and cooling to interrupt single crystal growth. An Independent claim is also included for a monograin membrane consisting of single crystal copper-indium diselenide or gallium arsenide grains produced by the above process. Preferred Features: The flux is selected from NaCl, Se, As, arsenides and selenides. The semiconductor material is a II/VI or III/V semiconductor.
