<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the frequency efficiency of the entire system, especially, to reduce wasteful power consumption on the wireless terminal side when data that the wireless terminal having channels added by a channel aggregate should transmit to a base station is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless terminal 100 communicates with the base station which assigns a plurality of channels pairs, each consisting of a channel on the uplink side and a channel on the downlink side, set up as a plurality of time slots to wireless terminals using the time division multiple access/time division duplex method which uses a plurality of time slots. The wireless terminal 100 acquires a quantity of data traffic of the channels on the uplink side contained in the plurality of channel pairs by an uplink flow rate monitoring portion 120. Based on the acquired quantity of data traffic, the wireless terminal 100 controls the usage state of at least one channel on the uplink side contained in the plurality of channels pairs by an uplink channel transmission state controlling portion 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
